Job summary

Dane House in Brighton is seeking a Bank Support Worker to care for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will use your caring nature and experience to positively impact residents and support their recovery pathway towards a valued life.

Shifts are 7.5 or 14.5 hours with occasional nights, offering training, induction and opportunities for a permanent contract in the future. You will work at a 6-bed community home in a supportive, kind team environment.

Qualifications

• You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
• The shifts will be either 7.5 hours or 14.5 hours with possible nights occasionally, with possibility of getting a permanent contract in the future.

Responsibilities

• Providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
• A positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important to help residents improve and lead a better life.
