About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join a supportive, low-secure service caring for adults with mental health diagnoses and/or personality disorders. You will play a key role in supporting individuals recovery, wellbeing, and independence, working alongside a multidisciplinary team across step-down and main services.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver prescribed nursing care within a defined framework, supporting a specific group of patients.
  • Work with patients and their families/carers to assess, plan, and implement individualised care plans.
  • Act as the patients named nurse, ensuring dignity, choice, and wellbeing are prioritised.
  • Accurately observe, monitor, and evaluate patients' needs and progress.
  • Review and update nursing care plans regularly.
  • Assist qualified staff in routine tasks and therapeutic activities to support recovery.
What We’re Looking For
  • Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with active NMC registration.
  • At least six months experience in mental health or learning disabilities care.
  • Resilient, flexible, and empathetic, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
