Location: Swallownest, S26 4WB

Contract type: 36 hours per week, on nights or days

Rate: £21.20 per hour

The Lodge is part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the country’s leading nursing care providers, and supports six adults with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities in a homely environment.

About the role

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and provide person‑centred nursing care for the people we support.
• Ensure the safe administration of medication.
• Promote health and wellbeing.
• Act as the nurse in charge of the home.
• Ensure care plans reflect the needs of the people we support.
• Manage situations when people display behaviours which challenge.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
