Job summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide in-home care for clients in Essex and surrounding areas. You will support individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities, helping them pursue personal goals, enjoy community activities, and build independence through person-centered care.

You will work across flexible shifts, including days, nights and weekends, and use PBS principles in daily practice to keep clients safe while promoting autonomy

Qualifications

  • 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting.
  • Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.
  • Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.
  • Strong personal values and ethical standards.
  • Dedication, commitment and stability.

Support Worker within Mental Health Services / Support Worker within Learning Disability Services

LOCATION: Essex and and surrounding locations in the East.

PAY RATES: Days £16.81 / Nights £18.91 / Weekends £21.01

Shifts - flexible and available to work across a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
