Job summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide care in clients’ homes across Leeds and surrounding areas. You will support individuals with mental health and learning disabilities to live safely, achieve personal goals and participate in community activities.

The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships, resilience and compassionate care, with flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends. Training, development and competitive rates are provided.

Qualifications

  • 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting.
  • Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.
  • Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services; strong personal values and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centered care within the client’s own home.
  • Maintain safety whilst making positive risk decisions.
  • Enrich life and promote independence.

Support Worker within Mental Health Services / Support Worker within Learning Disability Services

LOCATION: Leeds and surrounding locations in the North.

PAY RATES: Days £16.81 / Nights £18.91 / Weekends £21.01

Shifts - flexible and available to work across a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
