Job summary

Pursuit Resources Group is supporting an Essex-based charity by recruiting a Learning & Development Lead to shape how staff learn and grow across the organisation. You’ll design and deliver training, run mandatory compliance programs and lead management development within the People & Culture team.

You’ll partner with managers, use data to drive improvement, and manage budgets while building strong relationships with external providers and funding bodies.

Qualifications

• CPD in L&D or people development with a training qualification.
• Experience in Training Needs Analysis and end-to-end training delivery.
• Experience with mandatory/compliance training and reporting.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills with managers.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to implement development solutions.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent; coaching/mentoring qualifications welcomed.
• Experience in healthcare, charity or voluntary sector.
• Experience sourcing external funding or sponsorships.

Responsibilities

• Identify skills gaps and build training strategies across the organisation.
• Lead design, delivery and evaluation of engaging training for all levels.
• Oversee mandatory and compliance training and monitor completion rates.
• Drive Line Manager training and people-management development agenda.
• Manage coaching caseload for staff and senior managers.
• Coordinate external training providers and funding opportunities.
• Manage training budget and maintain learning calendar.
• Keep training records and use data to measure impact.
