Job summary

QA Limited in London is seeking a proactive Learning Designer who can create engaging digital learning content for external clients. You’ll apply learning theory and cognitive psychology to design effective experiences, and you’re a strong writer capable of crafting scripts and storyboards.

You will select the right media and delivery methods, work within briefs, timelines and budgets, and collaborate with SMEs and creative teams.

Qualifications

• Design digital learning content with evidence of improved learner outcomes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients, SMEs and creative teams.
• Confidently selecting the right mix of media and delivery methods for learner needs.
• Ability to work within briefs, timelines and budgets while keeping learners central to the design process.
• Experience with Adobe Captivate or Intellum Evolve is desirable.

About The Role

Learning Designer

Location: London

Who you are

You’re a Learning Designer who is proactive, resourceful, naturally curious, and comfortable working independently. You know when to collaborate or seek support, and you approach projects with a problem-solving mindset, looking beyond the requested solution to understand the challenge behind it.

You understand how people learn and apply learning design principles, learning theory, and cognitive psychology to create effective learning experiences. You’re also a strong writer who can create clear, engaging scripts, storyboards, and learning content.

What you’ve got

• Experience designing and developing digital learning content, ideally for external clients, with evidence of improved learner outcomes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, SMEs, and creative teams.
• Confidence selecting the right mix of media and delivery methods for learner and client needs.
• The ability to work within agreed briefs, timelines, and budgets while keeping learners at the heart of the design process.
• Experience with Adobe Captivate or Intellum Evolve (desirable).
