Job summary

Quantexa is seeking a Learning Designer to join the Design & Publish Team within Education Services. You’ll turn complex topics—data, analytics, software and FinTech—into clear, engaging learning experiences from talks with SMEs to published solutions.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days in our central London office. You’ll own your design projects end to end and bring ideas on tools and AI to improve learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing learning content with authoring and design tools (Articulate Rise).
• Strong knowledge of graphic design, UX, accessibility and media design.
• Understanding of learning theories and instructional design principles.
• Experience designing technical or complex training content in FinTech, analytics, data science or software.
• Clear, concise written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Interest or experience using GenAI for content creation and automation.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Collaborative, proactive approach and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and update learning solutions for customers, partners and employees—eLearning, media assets, articles, documentation and presentations.
• Apply best practices in visual design, accessibility and UX for a great learner experience.
• Build learning journeys in the LMS and use feedback to shape design decisions.
• Use AI-assisted tools for research, authoring and quality checks with human review for accuracy.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Product, Delivery and R&D teams to translate platform knowledge into training.
• Own programs end-to-end and keep content current as the platform evolves.
• Research documentation, demos and learner feedback to ensure quality.
• Plan and track design projects, flag risks early and keep stakeholders informed.
• Utilise Confluence, Jira, SharePoint and Asana to manage tasks and collaboration.
• Lead introduction of new tools or AI approaches to improve learning design.
• Support teammates and lead projects where beneficial.

The Quantexa Academy helps our customers, partners and colleagues become self-sufficient with the Quantexa Platform. We do that through online learning, instructor‑led sessions and bespoke digital resources that let every user harness the power of our award‑winning Decision Intelligence Platform.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Learning Designer to join our Design & Publish Team within Education Services. You'll turn complex technical topics – data, analytics, software and FinTech – into clear, engaging and accessible learning experiences, taking projects from first conversation with a subject matter expert through to a polished, published solution.

This is a role for an independent problem solver. You'll own your design projects end to end, decide how best to approach each one, and organize your own time across several priorities at once, spotting risks early and keeping stakeholders informed without needing to be chased. You'll work alongside Product, R&D and Delivery experts, and have the room to bring your own ideas on tools, approaches and how we use AI to design better learning.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of attending the company office in central London 2-3 days a week.

What you'll be doing

• Design and update learning solutions for customers, partners and employees – eLearning, media assets, articles, documentation and presentations – using a range of authoring and design tools.

• Apply best practice in visual design, accessibility and user experience so every learner has a great experience.

• Build learning journeys in our Learning Management System and use learner feedback and data to shape your design decisions.

• Use AI‑assisted tools to speed up research, authoring and quality checks, with human review to keep content accurate and aligned to learning objectives.

• Work with subject matter experts, and with Product, Delivery and R&D teams, to understand the Platform and turn that knowledge into effective training.

• Take ownership of your programs, keeping them current and aligned as the Platform evolves.

• Research technical documentation, demos, recordings and learner feedback to make sure our content is accurate and high quality.

• Plan and track your own design projects, flagging risks and blockers early and keeping stakeholders in the loop.

• Use tools such as Confluence, Jira, SharePoint and Asana to manage tasks, document your work and collaborate across teams.

• Identify, propose and lead the introduction of new tools, processes or AI approaches that improve our learning design and the learner experience.

• Support teammates through feedback and knowledge sharing, and take the lead on projects where it's useful.

What you'll bring.

Essential

• Hands‑on experience designing learning content with authoring and design tools (we use Articulate Rise).

• Solid knowledge of design fundamentals such as graphic design, UX, accessibility and media design.

• A good understanding of learning theories and instructional design principles.

• Experience designing technical or complex training content – for example in FinTech, analytics, data science, data engineering or software development.

• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.

• Confident use of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

• Experience, or real curiosity, in using GenAI for content creation, automation and productivity.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.

• A collaborative, proactive and solution‑focused approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience with an LMS and using learner data or feedback to improve content.

• Experience coordinating projects that involve several stakeholders.

• Experience mentoring or sharing knowledge with colleagues, or an interest in doing so.

• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira or Asana.
