Job summary

QA is seeking an experienced Agile Learning Consultant to provide strategic agile consultancy and enterprise‑level coaching across the organisation. You will design and deliver tailored learning solutions to drive agile transformation and measurable capability change, working with senior stakeholders to shape the portfolio direction with business growth in mind.

You will lead market‑leading agile solutions in Enterprise Agility, AI‑Augmented Practices and scaled frameworks, mentoring colleagues

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise agile coaching experience across all levels from delivery teams to C-suite.
• Minimum 5+ years’ agile coaching across technical and non-technical teams and domains.
• Formal coaching qualification (e.g. ILM, ICF, EMCC or equivalent) required.
• Proven ability to design and deliver contextual agile learning programmes and workshops.

About The Role

Agile Learning Consultant

Location: Home based

Your Role:

As an Agile Learning Consultant, you will provide strategic agile consultancy and enterprise‑level coaching to organisations, designing and delivering tailored learning solutions that drive agile transformation and lasting capability change. Acting as QA’s senior Agile specialist, you will work across all organisational levels – from delivery teams through to C‑suite executives – supporting complex transformation programmes and creating high‑impact learning interventions that generate measurable business outcomes.

You will lead the development of market‑leading agile solutions across Enterprise Agility, Agile Transformation, AI‑Augmented Agile Practices and scaled agile frameworks. Working closely with the Agile Portfolio Director, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the strategic direction of the Agile portfolio, establishing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and supporting business growth through consultancy, thought leadership and proposition development.

As a recognised thought leader in the Agile domain, you will influence QA’s agile portfolio direction, contribute to market positioning and mentor colleagues across the wider Learning organisation, ensuring excellence, innovation and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Agile Consultancy: Conduct organisational capability assessments, agile maturity diagnostics and learning needs analysis to design tailored agile transformation solutions aligned with strategic business priorities.
• Enterprise Agile Coaching: Apply enterprise agile coaching expertise across all organisational levels — from delivery teams through to C‑suite and board‑level leaders — guiding organisations through complex, multi‑year agile transformations.
• C‑Suite & Senior Leader Engagement: Act as a specialist advisor to executive and senior leadership audiences, facilitating strategic conversations about agile leadership, organisational culture, operating model design and enterprise agility.
• Learning Solution Design & Delivery: Design, develop and deliver innovative agile learning programmes, coaching engagements, workshops, facilitated sessions and blended learning experiences that drive measurable organisational transformation.
• Portfolio Contribution & Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the Agile Portfolio Director to help implement the strategic direction of the Agile portfolio, identifying capability gaps, market trends and commercial opportunities.
• Thought Leadership: Serve as a recognised thought leader in the Agile domain, contributing to industry debates, community events, publications, customer engagement and market‑facing content.
• Business Development & Commercial Contribution: Support pre‑sales activity, bids, proposals and client solution design, leveraging deep Agile expertise to drive growth and strengthen QA’s market position.
• AI‑Augmented Agile Practice: Demonstrate genuine passion for modern AI tools and apply them practically within agile team workflows and delivery contexts, coaching teams and leaders on how to integrate AI tools responsibly and effectively into their ways of working.
• Mentoring & Capability Building: Coach and develop Principal Learning Specialists, Senior Learning Specialists and the wider Agile practitioner community, promoting best practice and capability enhancement.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in agile learning design, coaching methodologies and emerging technologies, ensuring QA remains at the forefront of agile capability solutions.
• Professional Development: Maintain deep expertise in agile methodologies, enterprise agile frameworks, coaching, facilitation, AI tools and future workforce trends.

Your Experience:

Enterprise Agile Coaching & Transformation

• Extensive enterprise agile coaching experience, with the ability to operate and influence effectively at all organisational levels — from delivery teams to C‑suite executives.
• Proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to multiple large‑scale agile transformations across complex, regulated or matrixed organisations.
• Deep knowledge of agile transformation approaches including cultural change management, leadership alignment, operating model redesign and scaling strategy.
• Specialist experience engaging and coaching C‑suite and senior leaders on agile leadership, strategic agility and organisational change — this is a core, not optional, part of the role.
• Minimum 5+ years’ agile coaching experience across both technical and non‑technical teams and domains.

Agile Learning Design & Delivery

• Demonstrable experience designing and delivering contextualised, tailored agile learning solutions including training programmes, coaching engagements, facilitated workshops and blended learning experiences.
• Advanced facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences from delivery teams through to board‑level executives.
• Must have delivered facilitation and/or coaching programmes (e.g. ICAgile Team Facilitation, ICAgile Agile Coaching, or equivalent) as a trainer or coach.
• Formal coaching qualification (e.g. ILM, ICF, EMCC or equivalent) required.
• Demonstrable ability to define innovative solutions to meet complex client needs and scope learning engagements from initial diagnosis through to delivery.

Agile Frameworks & Methodologies

• Comprehensive knowledge of popular agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale and XP.
• Industry agile certifications demonstrating breadth and depth of expertise (e.g. Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, ICAgile, SAFe).
• Ability to apply frameworks contextually and pragmatically, avoiding dogma in favour of genuine organisational fit.
• Strong understanding of current agile market trends and the evolving landscape of enterprise agility.
