Job Title:

Learning Delivery Manager

Location:

Barrow-in-Furness (2 days a week on-site minimum). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Lead a team of L&D professionals who partner with business functions to deliver annual training plans on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
2. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure operational excellence in delivering learning to a diverse and high-volume learner portfolio.
3. Own the Integrated Business Plan (IBP) for learning in Submarines.
4. Align and deliver skills improvement strategies at the organizational level.
5. Manage the training budget, ensuring effective return on investment and benefits realization.

Your skills and experiences:

1. Proven success in managing large-scale projects and delivering complex programs efficiently.
2. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
3. Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward shared goals.
4. Background in Learning & Development or related fields such as HR, Project Management, or Functional Capability.

The Submarines Academy team:

As part of the Future Workforce team, you will work within our Submarines Academy as a Learning Delivery Manager, taking ownership of learning and skills strategies. You will build relationships with industry partners and academic organizations. Relocation support is available for eligible roles.
