Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd recruiting a Learning coach to join our client near Stroud. You will act as a keyworker, delivering pastoral and academic sessions on school site, offsite venues, and at home addresses.

You will lead 1-2-1 sessions, build trusted relationships with students, and support attendance and SEN needs. This is a temporary to permanent role; term-time hours and 39 weeks plus holiday apply.

Qualifications

• Essential: GCSE or equivalent level in English and maths
• Desirable: Level 3 Teaching Assistant · Safeguarding qualification

Responsibilities

• Act as keyworker and point of contact for parents and carers.
• Facilitate pastoral and academic sessions and bespoke interventions with students on school site, offsite venues and/ or the home address.
• Lead pre-planned 1-2-1 sessions in school and various community venues.
• Liaise with Teachers and SENCo to support matters relating to students’ access arrangements.
