We are seeking a Learning Behaviour Mentor to join the primary team at an alternative provision school in Vauxhall. This school adopts a therapy-based approach to support students in learning and playing effectively. It caters to pupils with EHCPs facing SEMH, ASD, ACEs, and SEND difficulties. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives within a supportive community school.
This position is available immediately, is full-time, and is expected to last until the end of the academic year. You will work with students across KS1 and KS2, supporting their motivation and learning, either on a 1:1 basis or within classroom settings.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual with a good understanding of young people's needs. Experience in an alternative provision or secondary school environment is desirable. You should possess strong behaviour management skills, patience, and an engaging classroom manner. Experience as a Learning Behaviour Mentor is preferred but not essential. A registered DBS or willingness to apply for one is required.
