Job Description:

We are looking for a learning behaviour mentor to join the KS3 team at an alternative provision school in Lambeth. This school provides a therapy-based approach to support students in learning and socialising effectively. It caters to pupils with EHCP facing SEMH, ASD, ACES, and SEND difficulties. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives within a supportive community school.

The Learning Behaviour Mentor Role

This is a long-term, full-time position starting as soon as possible, running until the end of the academic year. You will work with students across KS3 (years 7-9).

Ideal candidates have a good understanding of young people's needs and experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or classroom basis to boost motivation and learning. The role involves helping students develop independence and reintegrate into mainstream education.
