Exeter Students' Guild is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to shape how staff and volunteers learn, grow and flourish. You will design and deliver learning frameworks, programmes and systems to make learning accessible, inclusive and impactful across the organisation.
Role focuses on strengthening leadership, embedding a learning culture, and delivering practical, scalable development that supports staff, student staff and volunteers to thrive in a dynamic environment.
We're looking for someone with the passion to help shape how people learn, grow and flourish at Exeter Students' Guild. This is an exciting opportunity to build a joined-up approach to Learning and Development that helps colleagues, student staff and volunteers to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed.
You'll work across the organisation to create engaging learning experiences, strengthen leadership and management capability, and embed a culture where learning is valued as part of everyday work. Combining big picture strategic thinking with practical delivery, you'll design frameworks, programmes and systems that make learning accessible, inclusive and impactful. If you're someone who enjoys bringing people together, turning ideas into action and creating lasting organisational change, you'll play a key role in helping us build an even stronger, more capable organisation that helps students love Exeter.
Role: Learning and Development Manager
Hours: 35 Hours per week (to be worked flexibly)
Salary: Grade D starting at £38,733.82 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years
Location: Exeter/Hybrid
Exeter Students' Guild is the University of Exeter's students' union, led by students for students. We're an independent charity, offering a wide range of opportunities, services and support to help students get the most out of their unique journeys at university.
