Job summary

Sizewell C Company seeks a Learning and Development Coordinator to support the Civil Works Alliance project. You will coordinate training, keep records current, and report on training data for a nuclear construction program.

You’ll work with HR and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance and timely course bookings. The role requires 2–4 years in HR/training, good MS Office skills, and ability to work with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in HR/Training sector, ideally in Nuclear Industry
• Experience coordinating training for multiple roles and appointments
• Strong organizational and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and schedule appropriate training courses for each role and appointment
• Maintain training records up to date and regularly report on training data
• Book employees onto relevant training courses and liaise with trainers, delegates and suppliers
• Monitor upcoming expiries and ensure compliance with SQEP process
• Support administration tasks and data reporting for LMS implementation
• Assist with communications content around L&D
• Maintain the L&D team inbox and handle emails
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and project records

Learning and Development Coordinator Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within theCWA Wide Section.

What will you do?

The L&D Coordinator ensures Civil Works Alliance employees remain compliant with required training. They work closely with the L&D Manager the L&D Advisor, the HR team and Health & Safety teams on the project in order to identify and schedule the appropriate training courses for each role and appointment. They maintain training records up to date and regularly report on the training data.

General responsibilities

• Sort the different training requests following the request process.
• Booking employees onto the relevant training courses, liaising directly with trainers, delegates and suppliers to ensure smooth running of courses.
• Managing the upcoming expiries, ensuring compliance of CWA employees, in alignment with the SQEP process (SZC and CWA requirements).
• Monitoring training data and attendance, supporting with administration duty.
• Reporting on training activities.
• Preparing the data for the LMS implementation.
• Supporting with comms content around L&D.
• Maintaining the L&D team inbox and sort the e-mails.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and project records

What are we looking for?

• Previous work experience in HR/Training sector, ideally in Nuclear Industry, from 2 to 4 years
• Good knowledge of training requirements in Construction and Civil Engineering.in the UK
• Ability to collaboratively work with other teams
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office, presentation and mediation skills
• Excellent organisational skills
