Job summary

Eurocell PLC is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to partner with Manufacturing and People Business Partners, developing colleague capability across Manufacturing, Recycling and Supply Chain. The role emphasizes practical training, coaching and skills assessments, with a focus on embedding a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include needs analysis, designing and delivering learning interventions, and supporting induction and apprenticeship onboarding.

• Proven ability to design, deliver and evaluate practical learning solutions.
• Hands-on approach for credibility with operational teams.
• Feedback, coaching and development to improve performance.
• Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and development pathways desirable.
• L&D or training qualification is an advantage.

ROLE: Learning and Development Coordinator

HOURS: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent upon skills and experience, plus benefits

Eurocell are a stock market listed Plc and the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry. We know that our people are our greatest asset, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a Learning and Development Coordinator, focused on partnering with our Manufacturing functions and their respective People Business Partners to develop colleague capability across our Manufacturing, Recycling and Supply Chain functions.

This is a hands-on operational partnering role, focused on enabling managers to develop themselves and their teams by providing expertise, guidance and challenge, and enabling managers to retain ownership whilst embedding a culture of learning and continuous improvement through practical training, workplace coaching and skills assessments.

WHAT OUR LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATORS DO:

• Conduct training needs analysis and skills assessments to identify capability gaps and development requirements
• Design, deliver and evaluate practical training and development solutions supporting operational performance
• Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, workshop, and workplace-based learning interventions
• Coach and support colleagues, team leaders and managers to develop skills, competence and confidence
• Assess competence and contribute to robust training validation processes to ensure learning is embedded
• Coach team leaders and managers to build their confidence in developing, coaching, and assessing their teams
• Work with manufacturing management teams to ensure effective role-specific induction programmes are in place
• Facilitate elements of induction and onboarding activity for new starters where required
• Support within the Apprenticeship onboarding, development and develop further learning opportunities to support skills growth

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATORS:

• Previous experience delivering training, development and coaching within a manufacturing environment or similar could be an advantage
• Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to engage learners at all levels and adapt training approaches to meet operational needs
• Proven knowledge within training and development with the ability to design, deliver and evaluate practical learning solutions
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to build credibility quickly with operational teams
• Ability to provide constructive feedback, coaching and support to improve performance and competence
• Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and development pathways is desirable
• L&D or a training related qualification could be an advantage
