Job summary

Care UK is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Coordinator to support the L&D team and shape career opportunities for colleagues across our care homes.

You will manage bookings, create training materials, and collaborate with internal communications to ensure consistent messaging. The role involves data handling in Excel, reporting, and periodic travel to support learning initiatives across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookings and event coordination.
• Strong organisation and process management.
• Proven ability to create and manage reports in Excel.
• Effective communication within large organisations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support bookings for delegates and team members.
• Create and update training slides and presentation materials.
• Handle general communications for delegates and the business.
• Collaborate with internal comms and social media teams.
• Assist with survey creation and data collation.
• Prepare reports using templates and Excel sheets.
• Compile data in Excel for analysis.
• Coordinate meetings and events as required.
• Acknowledge colleagues' learning progress and recognition.
• Maintain and update the internal Intranet and learning documents.
• Engage with other teams to gather feedback for courses.
• Maintain a budget tracker and assist with Learning Management System tasks.

The Role:

To support all elements of Learning and Development to ensure colleagues can receive fulfilling careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting with bookings for delegates and team members
• Creation of training slides, updating slides, creating presentation slides
• General communications for delegates and the business
• Working with Internal comms and social media team
• Helping with Survey creation and collating of data
• Supporting the team with getting reports together using templates and Excel sheets
• Gathering data and adding to Excel for analysis
• Helping arrange meetings and events
• Supporting with colleagues recognition and reward for completion of learning
• Helping keep the internal Intranet up to date
• Helping with updating documents across the department
• Working with teams across the support centre and Op’s to gain feedback and information for courses.
• Keeping a budget tracker
• Occasional support with the Learning Mgt System & compliance
