Job summary

Central YMCA in Leeds is recruiting for a full-time role supporting learners and teaching staff within our Leeds Centre. You will build relationships with referral agencies and external partners to recruit learners, and provide pastoral support in line with our safeguarding policies.

You will work independently and as part of a wider team, helping learners achieve attendance, progression and education goals while adhering to safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with young people.
• Ability to provide pastoral and tutorial support.
• Commitment to safeguarding and equality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with referral agencies, schools and partners.
• Develop networks to attract learners and create progression routes.
• Provide pastoral support and monitor learner progress and attendance.
• Deliver timely interventions to improve attendance and behaviour.
