Job summary

Central YMCA in Leeds is recruiting for a Permanent/Full Time role, working 40 hours per week. You will support learners with high-quality study programmes and contribute to the delivery of vocational training, with a focus on widening participation and employability.

The role offers a generous annual leave package, pension, life insurance and wellbeing benefits, plus a dedicated administration day and potential remote work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with young people
• Advice and Guidance Level 3 or above and/or a relevant learning support qualification
• Maths and English qualifications at level 2 or above

Responsibilities

• Create mechanisms to build relationships with referral agencies, schools, local authorities & external partners to support recruitment
• Develop and maintain an extensive network to attract learners and provide progression routes
• Provide pastoral and tutorial support within the organisation's framework for learner progress and achievement
• Provide timely interventions to improve attendance, behaviour, success and progression
