Job summary

Siemens Energy in Worcester is seeking a Business Transformation Specialist to lead Lean initiatives within a manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deploy Lean principles and drive sustained improvements in quality, delivery, efficiency and customer value.

You’ll coach teams in Lean tools, map value streams, run Kaizen events, and track benefits, enabling a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Certifications: Lean or Six Sigma.
• Education: Proven professional experience in leading Lean or continuous improvement initiatives within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience: A proven track record of delivering business improvement or transformation activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Worcester Lean transformation program by facilitating improvement workshops, value stream mapping, and Kaizen activities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance flow, quality, delivery, and efficiency, ensuring the sustainability of new ways of working.
• Coach and support teams in Lean tools and continuous improvement methods, driving engagement and adoption of Lean principles across the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve transformation objectives and support communication and change initiatives throughout the program.
• Track transformation activities, measure benefits delivered, and monitor key performance indicators, providing progress updates to business leadership.
