Job summary

Perrigo in Braunton seeks an Operational Excellence professional to drive continuous improvement and Lean Sigma transformation. You will support the CI strategy, facilitate PWS development, and coach cross-functional teams to embed behaviours and standard work across the line.

The role focuses on evaluating product quality through data, addressing deviations, and implementing permanent corrective actions, with emphasis on waste reduction and KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• University degree, minimum 2 years’ experience in tablet/capsule manufacture.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and MHRA requirements.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Effective communication across levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Perrigo Work System site lead and OPEX Manager.
• Facilitate material development for DMS, SOP, Quick Fix routines.
• Lead shift handovers, huddles and Leader Standard Work.
• Introduce new practices and behaviours on lines.
• Aid in maturity assessments and KPI-focused actions.
• Support PWS Phase Implementation Plan and KPI lifecycles.
• Promote best practices and eliminate waste using lean tools.
• Support deployment of foundational Lean Tools at Braunton.
• Organise, lead Kaizen events with clear benefits.
• Investigate deviations and drive corrective actions.
