Job summary

LA International is seeking a candidate to create and maintain Rough-Cut Capacity Planning models and detail manufacturing plan methods with focus on time, cost and quality. The role ensures MRP data is accurate and that customer requirements are released to Manufacturing and Operations within tight timelines.

The position involves providing manufacturing cost estimates, challenging operation times, and ensuring Inventory control processes are followed.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Rough-Cut Capacity Planning models.
• Detail plan methods of manufacture with time, cost and quality in mind.
• Ensure the local MRP system is updated and accurate.
• Plan and release customer requirements to Manufacturing and Operations within timescales.
• Provide manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operation times.
• Comply with Inventory control processes.
• Demonstrate and use Lean Planning techniques and Production Control processes such as visual management, Kanban and Push/Pull.
• Experience in an operational environment, production and/or supply chain functions.
