Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Product & Planning in Filton, Bristol. 6 months with potential extension. 37 hours/week on site. Rate: £31 per hour PAYE/Inside IR35. Responsible for ME support to assembly to meet targets.

The role focuses on resolving value stream issues, reducing non-conformance, and ensuring quality and delivery through lean methods and ISO standards. Collaboration with suppliers and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment, especially assembly.
• Lean principles experience preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and Project is essential.

Responsibilities

• Resolve value stream related production issues.
• Determine the most economical method of manufacture.
• Develop process plans and tooling requirements for new products or changes.
• Support definition of manufacturing facilities and equipment needs.
• Lead and report on key projects/continual improvement within a defined area.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
