Job summary

Hafren Dyfrdwy, part of Severn Trent Plc, invites applications for a Leakage Distribution Service Technician in the reactive Customer Network Operations. You will operate and maintain the Underground Network Infrastructure and support inspection, improvement and repair tasks.

This is a secondment opportunity with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will work independently and in teams, communicating with customers, other departments and contract partners, while embracing continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in water network operations and leakage detection.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Hafren Dyfrdwy's Underground Network Infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance on key equipment and mains cleansing & flushing.
• Disinfect mains and trace mains & apparatus; identify contamination risks.
