Job summary

South Wales Police is seeking a Leadership, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Trainer to join the People and Leadership Development Team. The role focuses on planning and delivering training for officers and staff, promoting inclusive leadership and aligning with Force and National requirements.

The post supports flexible and remote working where appropriate, with an expectation to spend at least 50% of time at the Police Learning Centre in Bridgend.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education to GCSE A-C level including Maths & English.
• Hold or be willing to work towards College of Policing Training Essentials Programme (TEP) or CTLLS/CET/PGCE Post-16 Education.
• Passion for leadership development and inclusive policing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver and evaluate Leadership, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion training for officers and staff.
• Use blended and online training approaches to maximise engagement.
• Promote Leadership, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion internally and with external partners.
