Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Manager, Workface Planning to serve as the Owner's site representative for WFP activities across contractors at our CP2 Facility, Cameron, LA. Based on site, you will ensure IWPs are developed timely and executable, coordinating with EPC and field teams to support safe, efficient construction.

The role emphasizes governance of AWP/WFP processes, constraint management, and early issue resolution, with responsibility for audits, KPIs, and escalations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive construction experience on large industrial, LNG, petrochemical, energy, or major EPC projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Workface Planning (WFP).
• Experience with CWPs, IWPs, construction sequencing, constraint management, and construction readiness.
• Experience overseeing EPC contractors and major construction subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Materials, Project Controls, and Construction.
• Ability to evaluate contractor performance and drive corrective action without taking contractor execution responsibility.
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and contractor-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Owner oversight of all contractors Workface Planning programs and personnel.
• Ensure WFP activities comply with project execution strategy, procedures, contractual requirements, and industry practices.
• Monitor IWPs development, maturity, and readiness for field use.
• Verify IWPs are logical, executable, and contain required information for field supervision.
• Oversee contractor constraint management and IWP readiness processes.
• Identify and resolve engineering, materials, access, and other constraints ahead of construction.
• Monitor IWP development vs construction schedule and maintain executable backlog.
• Conduct WFP audits, field observations, and performance assessments across EPC/subcontractors.
• Monitor WFP KPIs and address trends affecting readiness and productivity.
• Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions through the Integrated Project Management Team.
• Ensure WFP integrates with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Materials, Project Controls, Quality, HSE, and Completions.
• Provide regular WFP performance reporting and escalation of significant issues to Owner Construction and AWP leadership.
• Promote consistent WFP implementation across disciplines and subcontractors.
