Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Window and Door Fabricator to join its production team in Ealing. The role focuses on assembling high-quality windows and doors in accordance with drawings and specifications, with opportunities to lead others and improve shop-floor efficiency.

The successful candidate will handle precise assembly, read detailed drawings, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Competent use of hand and power tools for fabrication.
• Strong attention to quality and defect identification.
• Experience in leading or guiding junior staff is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Window and Door Assembly: assemble windows and doors per specs using hand/power tools; apply silicone and gaskets.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: read and follow detailed drawings for custom windows/doors.
• Quality Control: inspect finished products for defects and report faults.
• Independent Work: manage daily tasks as a lead assembler to meet output targets.
• Team Support: assist and mentor junior staff with complex tasks and troubleshooting.
• Health and Safety: follow policies and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Forklift Operations: assist with moving raw materials (forklift certified).
• Documentation: sign off on completed panels to confirm quality standards.
