Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Window and Door Assembly: assemble windows and doors per specs using hand/power tools; apply silicone and gaskets.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: read and follow detailed drawings for custom windows/doors.
• Quality Control: inspect finished products for defects and report faults.
• Independent Work: manage daily tasks as a lead assembler to meet output targets.
• Team Support: assist and mentor junior staff with complex tasks and troubleshooting.
• Health and Safety: follow policies and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Forklift Operations: assist with moving raw materials (forklift certified).
• Documentation: sign off on completed panels to confirm quality standards.

Window and Doors Fabricator / Window and Door Assembler

Location: Ealing

Salary: £14.00 – £18.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview

On behalf of one of our established clients, we are seeking an experienced window assembler and door assembler to join their production team as a window and doors fabricator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality windows and doors in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. As a dedicated assembler, this role requires the ability to work independently, provide support to less experienced assembler team members, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace for overall window and door production.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Window and Door Assembly: Perform precise window assembly and door assembly using hand and power tools according to technical specifications; apply silicone and gaskets accurately to every window and door during fabrication.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and follow detailed technical drawings for custom windows and doors.
• Quality Control: Inspect each completed window and door for defects prior to sign-off; identify and report any faults during the window and door assembly process.
• Independent Work: Manage daily task loads as a lead assembler to meet target output for windows and doors.
• Team Support: Assist and guide junior window and door fabricator staff with complex assembler tasks and troubleshooting.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all Health and Safety policies while fabricating windows and doors; maintain a clean work area.
• Forklift Operations: Assist with moving raw materials used for window and door fabrication (valid forklift certification required).
• Documentation: Sign off on completed window and door panels to confirm quality standards are met.

Factory environment focused on window and door assembly, with standard machinery, noise, and dust. PPE is fully provided
