Job summary

DC Solution in London’s Ealing area seeks an experienced window and door assembler to join its production team. You will fabricate windows and doors to drawings, using hand and power tools, applying silicone and gaskets, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role includes leading daily tasks, supporting junior staff, and signing off on finished panels. Forklift operation is required with valid certification.

Window and Doors Fabricator / Window and Door Assembler

Location: Ealing

Salary: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Overview

On behalf of one of our established clients, we are seeking an experienced window assembler and door assembler to join their production team as a window and doors fabricator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality windows and doors in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. As a dedicated assembler, this role requires the ability to work independently, provide support to less experienced assembler team members, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace for overall window and door production.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Window and Door Assembly: Perform precise window assembly and door assembly using hand and power tools according to technical specifications; apply silicone and gaskets accurately to every window and door during fabrication.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and follow detailed technical drawings for custom windows and doors.
• Quality Control: Inspect each completed window and door for defects prior to sign-off; identify and report any faults during the window and door assembly process.
• Independent Work: Manage daily task loads as a lead assembler to meet target output for windows and doors.
• Team Support: Assist and guide junior window and door fabricator staff with complex assembler tasks and troubleshooting.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all Health and Safety policies while fabricating windows and doors; maintain a clean work area.
• Forklift Operations: Assist with moving raw materials used for window and door fabrication (valid forklift certification required).
• Documentation: Sign off on completed window and door panels to confirm quality standards are met.
