Job summary

Global Wind Service (UK) Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead wind turbine service and maintenance projects from mobilisation to close-out. You will ensure safe, compliant and commercially sound execution, coordinating technicians, site teams, customers, vendors and subcontractors to deliver planned scopes efficiently.

Qualifications

• Progressive project management experience in wind energy or similar generation asset environments.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary maintenance scopes with field technicians, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong technical understanding of wind turbine systems and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead wind turbine service and maintenance projects from mobilisation through execution and close-out.
• Plan, coordinate preventive, corrective and campaign maintenance activities balancing safety, cost and schedule.
• Own project scope, programme, budget, forecast and commercial performance; monitor variances and take corrective actions.
• Translate contractual and technical requirements into delivery plans, work packages and resource plans.
• Coordinate technicians, supervisors, equipment, vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage defects, troubleshooting and return-to-service activities; escalate risks as needed.
• Ensure work complies with contracts, local laws and wind-industry standards.
• Champion a strong safety culture with risk assessments, permits and toolbox talks.
• Maintain complete project documentation and regular reporting to customers and stakeholders.
• Build customer relationships, manage expectations and identify service-improvement opportunities.
• Conduct pre-start site reviews and coordinate welfare, logistics and access requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and capture lessons learned to improve future planning.
