Job summary

J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking a Web Engineer to own and deliver web applications for Nutmeg within a cross-functional team. You will build features end-to-end using our React-based design system and collaborate with engineering and product peers.

The role emphasizes code quality, testing, accessibility and security, with participation in SCRUM ceremonies. You will mentor colleagues and contribute to documentation and platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building customer-centric web apps (SPAs).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Mentor and support other engineers.
• Strong React proficiency.
• Solid web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES6, HTTP/DNS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver product features within epic initiatives.
• Identify and resolve defects.
• Ensure high-quality code via testing and standards.
