J.P. Morgan Personal Investing invites applications for a Web Engineer to own web applications that power Nutmeg. You’ll ship product features end-to-end in a cross-functional team with Engineering and Product, using a React Design system to scale.

You will join a friendly group of engineers and contribute to accessible, secure, high-performance experiences for customers across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building customer-centric web apps and SPAs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong React expertise and core web fundamentals.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES6, and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver product features within a cross-functional team.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Ensure high-quality code with testing and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and product for domain features.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Create technical docs for new features and spikes.
• Understand product/tech for owned domains and participate in scrum.
• Consider accessibility, security, observability and performance.
