Job summary

ARCADIS in Greater Manchester seeks experienced Principal/Senior Process Engineers to join our Design & Engineering team. In this role, you will provide design inputs for frameworks across UK Water Companies and collaborate on large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and has substantial technical design experience in multi-disciplinary projects. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative.
• Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body.
• Strong technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Good motivation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients to understand requirements.
• Preparing detailed designs and construction-ready documentation.
• Developing feasibility-level design and assessments.
• Mentoring less experienced staff.

Skills

Technical design experience

Knowledge of BIM-led design

Education

Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Chartered membership (IChemE or CIWEM)
