Job summary

Coffey is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Civils/MIECA water projects in the Midlands. You will oversee contracts from pre-commencement through to handover, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relations.

Essentially, you will manage design and build contracts, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and drive health, safety, quality and environmental standards across all contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager on civil infrastructure.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater design and operational processes.
• Good contract knowledge (NEC4) and proven delivery of infrastructure contracts.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee build-only or design-and-build contracts for water/ wastewater.
• Lead a project team including design staff, project staff, sub-contractors and support staff.
• Support senior management in delivering contract objectives.
• Oversee project management, control, engineering management and construction.
• Maintain healthy client and stakeholder relationships from start to close-out.
• Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues.
• Plan programmes and resource-loaded schedules for design and contract administration.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental procedures are followed.
• Prepare timely status reports to clients and Coffey Management.
• Deliver project outcomes meeting Coffey’s financial objectives.
