Job summary

Egis is seeking a senior wastewater modeller to lead our UK Infoworks ICM network modelling and expand our water services for clients in the UK. You will drive best practice, mentor colleagues and contribute to project delivery across the UK, Ireland and France, shaping investments and design decisions.

You will promote blue/green infrastructure and SuDS as part of an integrated engineering approach and work in a hybrid environment with strong client engagement and developer collaboration.

Qualifications

• BSc/Eng or MSc/Eng in Civil, Water or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Obtained or near to obtaining CIWEM or similar qualification.
• Experience in UK Water Sector with client/consultancy exposure.
• Knowledge of regulator (Environment Agency) and modelling standards.
• Experience with Infoworks ICM and other hydraulic modelling packages.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in developing Infoworks ICM modelling capabilities and promote best practice.
• Promote sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and blue/green infrastructure.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with teams across the UK, Ireland and France to deliver hydraulic modelling services.
• Provide technical advice to clients and manage projects from inception to delivery.
• Support business development, tenders and proposals.
