Job summary

Egis Foundation is seeking a delivery-focused wastewater modelling specialist to join our Water team in the UK. You will work with colleagues across the UK, Ireland and France to develop and deliver models for clients, supporting projects from conception to delivery.

The role requires hands-on technical delivery, strong communication and an innovative mindset, with experience in 1D/2D hydraulic modelling and familiarity with industry tools such as InfoWorks ICM, Flood Modeller, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW,

Qualifications

BSc/Eng or MSc/Eng in Civil, Water or Environmental Engineering disciplines.
Obtained or near to obtaining professional qualification with CIWEM or similar.
Demonstrable client, contractor or consultancy experience in UK Water Sector.
Demonstrable knowledge of regulator (Environment Agency), modelling requirements and technical standards.
Knowledge of scripting / automation (Python, Ruby etc) advantageous.
Experience developing, verifying/calibrating and checking 1D and 2D hydraulic models.

Responsibilities

Work with our teams across the UK, Ireland and France to develop and deliver a range of wastewater modelling services to our clients.
Provide technical and expert advice to clients, manage and deliver projects.
Support business development opportunities, contribute to tenders and proposals, develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
Collaborate with wider Egis teams to develop market leading and innovative services to our clients.
Participate in industry events, seminars and conferences.
Showcase Egis technical capability and project experience.
