Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our established logistics operation in Kettering. This is a temp-to-perm role with an immediate start and real scope for long-term progression.

You will lead a busy warehouse floor, work closely with the Shift Manager, and ensure loading/unloading of tyres is performed safely, efficiently and to KPI targets. A strong focus on health and safety and staff development is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a warehouse team
• Experience with loading/unloading goods
• Ability to work hands-on on the shop floor
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the warehouse team on a daily basis
• Work closely with the Shift Manager to ensure smooth operation
• Hands-on on the shop floor, leading by example
• Load and unload tyres safely and efficiently
• Plan staffing and resources to meet daily requirements
• Monitor KPIs and productivity targets
• Communicate targets and updates to the team
• Support induction and training of staff
• Maintain health and safety standards
