Job summary

Astute is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for the Torness Converter Station project in East Lothian, Scotland. The role involves supervising daily warehouse operations, receiving and inspecting deliveries, coordinating material flow, and maintaining strict stock control to support project schedules.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of warehouse logistics experience, strong leadership skills, and familiarity with ERP/WMS systems; SAP experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience supporting large-scale EPC/construction projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, material traceability and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, handling, preservation and issuing of materials.
• Oversee receipt and inspection of deliveries, verifying quantities and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate warehouse personnel with safe, efficient material handling.
• Plan RAMS, lift plans and ensure timely submissions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock counts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate deliveries and material requests to meet project schedules.
• Ensure materials are labelled, stored and preserved per requirements.
