Pertemps DHL is recruiting an experienced supervisor for Ashford. The role offers full-time and part-time hours, with shifts 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00.

The job involves directing daily teams, coordinating workloads, and ensuring health and safety compliance while handling loading/unloading tasks and admin duties. Ideal candidates will have logistics experience in a fast-moving environment, strong warehouse system knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environment.
• Strong warehouse system experience.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
• Experience of working to agreed targets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. loading, unloading vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervising teams in daily activities.
• Co-ordinating workloads and prioritising tasks.
• Carrying out administrative tasks and reporting.
• Loading and unloading lorries with manual handling and MHE.
• Maintaining health and safety compliance.
• Updating the Yard Management System as trained.
• Supporting inspection processes with on-site partners.
• Working to departmental and site objectives.
• Participating in required training and development.
• Championing a health and safety culture.
