Job summary

Whistl UK Ltd in Lutterworth is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy team and ensure the smooth running of all warehouse operations.

You will coordinate loading and unloading, manage resources and staff, train team members, and uphold safety and regulatory standards to deliver high quality and cost-effective service for customers.

This hands-on leadership role offers opportunities for development within a fast-paced distribution environment and a supportive depot team.

Qualifications

• Supervise a team of warehouse operatives and coordinate activities to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Plan resource allocation based on volume and throughput to meet SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Brief and debrief team daily, delegate and prioritise work, and manage attendance and performance.
• Deputise for the shift manager during periods of absence.
• Train team members during induction to support development and performance.
• Maintain warehouse standard operating procedures in liaison with depot management and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to keep stakeholders informed on operations.
