Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Mercia Park, Measham (DE12), is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of operators and manage the warehouse function to meet business targets.

You will ensure on-time, in-full deliveries, monitor KPIs and quality standards, and develop the team while promoting safe working practices. Shifts are Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 as part of a growing global logistics group.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a warehouse.
• Good communication and organisation skills with strong time management.
• Attention to detail and IT literacy.
• Proven problem solving abilities.
• Experience with CargoWrite is desirable; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the warehouse function and lead a team of operators.
• Support management with day-to-day warehouse operations and achieve targets.
• Ensure on-time, in-full deliveries and maintain KPIs and quality standards.
• Provide line management and coordinate workloads; monitor issues.
• Promote safe working culture and develop the team.
• Run contractual operations for customer service and location KPIs and invoicing.
