Job summary

Loom Talent is recruiting a Warehouse Shift Manager for a 4 month FTC in the Thurmaston area. You will lead all warehouse operations, drive performance and ensure OTIF deliveries while managing a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires strong experience in warehouse operations, 3PL familiarity, and robust health and safety knowledge. You will report into the operations leadership and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehouse Operations
• 3PL experience is advantageous
• People management experience including performance matters
• Solid Health and Safety knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Good IT skills and knowledge of WMS
• Commutable to Thurmaston area 5 days per week

Responsibilities

• Optimise Logistics Operations across warehouse, transport and distribution
• Build and maintain supplier/partner relationships
• Ensure accurate Inventory and stock control
• Oversee Customer Order fulfilment ensuring OTIF deliveries
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement
• Manage warehouse operations, layout, stock movement and safety
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes
• Collaborate with production, sales and finance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management
