Job summary

Pets at Home Limited in Alsager, Cheshire, seeks an experienced veterinary lead to head a standalone practice. You will mentor junior vets, uphold high clinical standards, and enjoy full clinical freedom in a supportive team.

The role offers flexible full- or part-time hours with no Sundays or OOH, Saturdays mornings on a 1 in 4 rota, and a competitive salary up to £75,000 FTE, plus a contributory pension and staff discounts. Carl, the owner, will empower decisions and value your input.

Qualifications

• Experienced vet with leadership and mentoring skills.
• Comfort with medical and surgical cases and decision making.
• Ability to maintain high clinical standards and guide juniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical team and mentor junior vets daily.
• Maintain top-quality patient care and standards.
• Share decision-making with the owner to enable swift actions.
• Participate in flexible scheduling with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota.
