Ready to take the lead? This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to step into a clinical leadership role at a supportive small animal practice in Somerset, with a salary of up to £75,000 DOE, a dedicated CPD budget and, The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will provide clinical leadership and guidance to the veterinary team, promoting excellent patient care and a positive working culture.

Responsibilities include mentoring colleagues, maintaining high clinical standards, improving services and practice processes, and building strong client relationships. The successful candidate will also have the freedom to develop their own clinical interests while contributing to the continued success of the practice.

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with small animal experience, strong clinical and communication skills, and a genuine passion for patient and client care.

They will be approachable, organised and proactive, with the ability to support and motivate colleagues. Previous leadership or mentoring experience would be beneficial, but support will be available for the right candidate.
