Job summary

Medivet Group is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon in Somerton to provide clinical leadership within our team. You will work closely with the veterinary and nursing staff to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while mentoring colleagues and developing the service.

The role offers 40 hours per week, permanent full-time with no OOH; there is a rota for Saturday mornings. Salary up to £75,000 DOE, with a CPD budget to support your professional development.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered.
• Experience working in small animal practice.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for patient and client care.
• The ability to support, motivate and develop colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• A proactive and positive approach to clinical and practice development.
• Leadership or mentoring experience would be beneficial, but support will be available for the right candidate.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team and Medivet & Partners Somerton.

The Role

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide clinical leadership within the practice, working closely with the wider veterinary and nursing team to deliver excellent standards of patient and client care.
