Are you looking for a step up in managing a team? Or interested in joining an excellent practice in a thriving village?


Medivet Brampton is a small animal, multi-vet practice with a loyal, friendly client base and a varied caseload. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-rays, dental facilities, ultrasound, multiparametric monitor, in-house laboratory, and more.


As a Lead Vet in this two-vet practice, you will have the autonomy to manage your own team, with support from Medivet’s large community of clinicians when needed.


This role involves working 4 days a week with no out-of-hours shifts and currently no weekends. Part-time applications are also welcome.


We offer relocation support for those moving over 60 miles within the UK or internationally, as well as assistance with visa costs. A £5,000 welcome bonus is also available upon joining.

Role Accountabilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding care to clients, including clear updates on patients.
  • Maintain professional excellence, adhering to regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for clients, ensure payment, and minimize debt.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to optimize commercial performance focusing on key metrics.
  • Engage, mentor, and develop your team, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
  • Inspire your team by sharing new or evolving standards and process changes.
  • Complete clinical handovers and coordinate transfer of patients requiring out-of-hours or specialized care.
  • Proactively support and share clinical best practices within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.

Your Skills And Experience

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.

  • Understanding of how exceptional care enhances client experience.
  • Experience implementing a progressive clinical culture.
  • Ability to drive strong commercial performance through effective clinical activity management.
  • Effective team player with coaching and influencing skills.
