Job summary

Bright Leaf Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse for a leadership role in London. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and support high standards of patient and client care.

You will lead nurse-led clinics, supervise Schedule 3 activities, and assist veterinary surgeons with procedures while promoting a positive team culture and staff development. RCVS registration is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS registration.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop nursing staff.
• UK work eligibility and right to work in England.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership to the nursing team.
• Support nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities.
• Assist veterinary surgeons with consultations, surgeries and other procedures.
• Monitor inpatients, admissions and discharges.
• Foster a positive team culture and deliver high standards of care.
