Job summary

Campsie Veterinary Centre in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team. The role is fixed term until February 2027, full-time 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with a share of weekend and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Practice Director with the nursing team and practice objectives
• Ensuring the practice stays up to date with RCVS standards
• Supporting with the coordination of the nursing rota
• Delivering training and mentorship for new and junior team members
• Completing clinical audit checks
• Running nursing clinics, monitoring anaesthetics and providing inpatient care
• Supporting practice leadership with building and promoting a positive team culture through effective ways of working
