Job summary

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until February 2027

Rota: Full time, 40 hours a week, across 4 or 5 days with a share in the weekend and the on-call out of hours rota.

Salary: Competitive Salary depending on experience

Life at Campsie Veterinary Centre

Campsie Vets is a small animal first opinion clinic with an out-of-hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats and small mammals. We are based in Omagh and provide an on call emergency overnight service to clients. With free on-site parking, a loyal client base, and a supportive team culture, we also foster a strong focus on professional development. With a modern, state-of-the-art building, our facilities include dental equipment, digital x-ray, multiparameters, laparoscopic kits, and endoscope, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Would Include
  • Supporting the Practice Director with the nursing team and practice objectives
  • Ensuring the practice stays up to date with RCVS standards
  • Supporting with the coordination of the nursing rota
  • Delivering training and mentorship for new and junior team members
  • Completing clinical audit checks
  • Running nursing clinics, monitoring anaesthetics and providing inpatient care
  • Supporting practice leadership with building and promoting a positive team culture through effective ways of working
