Job summary

Otter Vets in Sidmouth, part of Inspiring Vet Care, is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon for a small animal practice. This senior role offers the chance to shape the clinical direction and grow the team with mentoring and development opportunities.

The position is full-time (40 hours across four or five days) with no out-of-hours or on-call requirements, and a salary up to £80,000 DOE, plus relocation up to £5,000 and a welcome bonus up to £5,000.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a veterinary team and developing others.
• Mentoring colleagues would be highly valued.
• Vet GDP qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the practice and set clinical direction.
• Manage a varied caseload of small animals (cats and dogs).
• Support and develop the team, with mentorship and training.
